Executive Vice PresidentGil Sass, AIA, NCARB
Gil Sass has over 30 years of experience in outpatient facilities planning, design and development. He has designed more than 1,500 healthcare facilities nationwide, including multi-specialty group practice clinics, medical office buildings, surgery centers, sports medicine-physical therapy facilities, urgent care centers, imaging centers, and major ambulatory care centers.
Gil originally joined AMB as Director of Design. Today, as Executive Vice President and shareholder, he oversees AMB’s team of healthcare designers and planners. Mr. Sass is a hands-on participant and leader in the day-to-day planning, design and development process.
At a time when the healthcare industry is challenged daily with the task of reducing costs and increasing quality, our clients rely on Gil’s significant national experience and ability to develop new concepts and efficiencies from design through completion. He has personally carried out every task of a major healthcare development project, including feasibility, leasing, design, project development and management. This level of expertise, track record and multi-dimensional capability proves to be a valuable resource for his clients and fellow team members.
Gil is an NCARB registered architect. Member of the American Institute of Architects, the American Hospital Association, and the Medical Group Management Association. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from Southern Illinois University.
